We are currently hiring a Buyer.

The Buyer is responsible for optimal procurement of needed supplies and raw materials for the company; coordinating raw material inventory control with all departments; and making sure receiving of products is just in time, safely handled, and secure.

Primary Accountabilities:

• Act as a liaison and point of contact between management, carriers, customers, vendors, and suppliers
• Monitor inventory levels through regular inventory checks
• Coordinate with department managers daily for raw material needs and to be attentive of any significant deliveries
• Create and maintain purchase orders for purchasing production supplies and raw materials; ensuring supplies are received for just in time production
• Maintain and administer supplier contracts and relationships
• Contact suppliers for orders and ensure on time arrivals of materials
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

• 2 years' experience in a Buyer role in manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, track multiple projects at a time, and successfully meet deadlines.
• Ability to work diligently with minimal supervision and collaborate with other members
• Clear and effective communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing situations
• Excellent computer skills

Typical Work Conditions:

• Office based with proactive visits to production areas

Pay Range:

• $26-$30, plus Profit Sharing!!!
